The Natapoc Lodging gang Zelda Scott Joins Natapoc Team
Those of you who have called and heard a new cheerful voice have already met Zelda. Zelda, Mike and their children Jon and Mandy moved to Plain last March. She previously managed 13 Pizza Huts in the Seattle area and comes to us with much experience. Thanks to call forwarding and computers, we're able to transfer our office to her home, where she greets you and also is a mom. We do strive to maintain phones 24 hours a day, and Zelda's help gives us a much needed break. Zelda is also the daughter of Donna, one of our valuable team. We are a family operation in more ways than one.

Bogie the dog Bogie A Tribute to Bogie, A Welcome to Skookum
Our beloved Bogie, after 18 years of a most enjoyable dog's life, has retired to "doggie heaven". It was a sad day last April when we put him in the ground. He loved our guests and became the official greeter. I remember when we were not there to welcome a couple. Upon meeting them later, I apologized for not being there when they arrived. No problem, Bogie did a great job.
Then there were the stories from guests of how Bogie would make his breakfast rounds by smelling the Jennaire vents to decide where he would begin his routine.
In tribute, we planted a patch of wildflowers where Bogie was buried. When you walk by the office, look for the splash of color and remember Bogie.
We brought Skookum home a year before Bogie died in hopes that some of his great personality would rub off on her. She's a German Shorthair and was chosen because her coloring was so close to Bogie's. Well, I think we over-spoiled her; she has become very dependent on us. She has lots of energy and needs her daily runs. She does love guests but often gets so excited she jumps up on people. You may see her out on the grounds with us, as she loves to go along on outside chores. Skookie is very friendly and, unlike Bogie and his wagging tail, she wags her whole body in lack of a tail.
