Natapoc is an Indian name for the mountain we are nestled beside on a secluded stretch of the Wenatchee River. Each cabin is surrounded by acres of trees and wild flowers and has its own deck, with hot tub, overlooking the river. We are unique offering first class accommodations in woodland seclusion, yet are only minutes from your favorite recreation activity.
Seasons at Natapoc Lodging have something for everyone to experience from relaxing and enjoying nature to recreational activities or a shopping spree in the Bavarian Village.
Spring has arrived when the wild flowers explode and show their hues, birds provide song and hummingbirds seek fresh nectar. Bicycling, hiking, mushroom hunting, photography and enjoying the rushing sounds of the river are favorite activities. Mai Fest in the village and Wenatchee's Apple Blossom are celebrations you may want to attend.
Summer brings river rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking, rock climbing, and the glorious rays of the sun. Golfing, water skiing, sailing, horseback riding, swimming, and tennis are available at Lake Wenatchee, just 5 miles away. Additional golfing and special art events are in Leavenworth. For those adventurous types a refreshing dip in the river is at your doorstep.
Autumn arrives with abundant color as the leaves turn. Hikes and bicycling are two enjoyable activities. Leavenworth's Autumn Leaf Festival, and the new crop of pears and apples are additional attractions. Photographers love to capture the seasons in the Plain Valley and Autumn is a particularly delightful time.
Winter brings snow covered trees and beautifully groomed cross country ski trails at Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth. Downhill skiing at Stevens Pass is only 28 miles away with Mission Ridge a few miles further. For those who enjoy snowmobiling we are only a few minutes from many groomed forest service trails. Christmas Lighting in the Bavarian Village is an outing worth viewing. Building snow people and coming into a warm cozy fire, curling up with a book and quiet relaxation are all part of your experience.
Accommodations at Natapoc Lodging can be tailored to fit your needs...a romantic getaway for two to a family reunion, gathering of friends, church or business retreat. We have seven cabins available each with river frontage on its own two to five acres of trees and privacy. Our smallest cabin, Stuchin, was designed as a "honeymoon" cabin and our largest cabin, Mahsahwe, lends itself to retreat gatherings. All of our cabins are given Indian names for the wild flowers in the area.
Each cabin is completely furnished with linen service, bathrooms, washers and dryers. The kitchens are spacious and fully equipped with dishwashers, electric ranges, microwaves, small appliances and dishes. The bedrooms are attractively decorated with quilts and comforters promising you sweet dreams. Five cabins have their own Hot Springs hot tubs. All cabins have fireplaces, telephones, radio cassette players, gas barbecues, TV/VCR's, electric heat and are individually decorated with country antiques and warmth.
